Bakula Rimpoche Airport,Leh (World's Highest Airport at over 3500 m above Sea Level)
Between Mid Oct - Mid - April, Air is an only mode of Reaching Ladakh due to Akl Roads being snow bound and this part of India remains cut off from rest of the World by Road)

- New Delhi - Leh is 75 minutes by a Daily flight of Jet Airways at 5:45 AM Morning
- New Delhi - Leh is 75 minutes by a Daily flight of Indian Airlines at 5:45 AM Morning
- New Delhi - Leh is 75 minutes by a Daily flight of Air Deccan at 6:20 AM Morning
- Srinagar - Leh is only once a week on Wednesday by Indian Airlines at 9:05 AM Morning
- Jammu - Leh is twice a week on Monday & Friday by Indian Airlines at 9:20 AM Morning

By Road :
Leh is one of the Two Districts of Ladakh,the other being Kargil.Leh itself happens to be the Largest district of India in terms of an area.
- Srinagar - Leh via Sonamarg - Dras - Kargil 435 Km (snow bound during Mid Oct till Mid-April)
