Not many hotels or guesthouses existed before Ladakh was put on the international tourist map. The first few hotels in Leh town of Ladakh came up early in the year 1974, when for the first time Ladakh was thrown open to tourists from all over the world. The opening up of Ladakh for tourists also marked the entry of entrepreneurs in the field of establishment and running of hotels to cater to the growing needs of the tourists.

With humble beginnings Hotel Dragon today is a fully loaded hotel in Ladakh with all facilities. Those were the days when the number of people coming from foreign countries was just a trickle. How ever this was to change dramatically in the following years necessitating increase in accomodation and expansion in facilities for the comfort of the tourists.

The famous Rabsal tradition of Ladakhi architecture is used in the hotel.   • Rates Validity : Till 30 Mar'2009.
  • The Booking / Reservation shall be confirmed after the receipt of full payment in advance.
  • No bookings /reservations shall be entertained below the rates specified above.
  • The rates for room / Package are for two persons on twin sharing basis.
  • Any additional night will be charged on pro-rata basis.
  • Any upgradation to a Superior Room would be done subjected to an availability with/without extra payment.
  • One Child below 5 years is free, Child 5-11 staying in the same room shall be charged 25(with/without extra bed),Child Above 12 Years is considered to be an Adult & shall be charged 35%.
  • No Refund if there is no adequate snowfall (min 1.5 ft) for Skiing Packages in Gulmarg.
  • Cancellation: 75% amount room rent / Package cost refunded before 20 days of arrival date at resort. 50% roomrent / package will be refunded 15 days of arrival date and 25% room rent /package will be refunded 10 days of arrival date at resort. No refund in any case for cancellation with in 7 days of arrival date at resort.
  • Preponement/postponement of any booking will be treated as cancelled & liable for cancellation charges as mentioned.
  • Any delay or cancellation of hotel booking on account of cancellation of flights or any other transport arrangement due to bad weather or other natural cause will be liable for cancellation charges as mentioned above.
  • Resort has right to revise / suspend any tariff/ Package offered at any point of time and can refund the paid advance 10% Service Charges on Room & 12.5% on Food &Beverages is applicable.
  • This confirmation is issued as irrevocable for the period specified and Guests are liable for entire period irrespective of late arrival or an early departure.
  • The advance collected shall be adjusted at the time of final bill.
  • Entire advance shall be forfeited if the Guests fails to check in on due date.
  • All disputes shall strictly be subject to jurisdiction of Delhi courts only.
